Tata Nano Safety Features

Though the Nano can be a poor mans car, its lack of all safety features. Its having no disc brakes, engine is on the rare side so head on collision will have a greater impact on the passengers of the car, body is made of superlight material almost resembling fibre material. Overall not at all safe and waste of money. Instead of it we can go for M800 or Suzuki Alto

But my dear friend these car comes at double the price. Moreover nano is not a fast car so crash looks rare. Plus in city conditions manevouring this car could be simple. Best for ladies and retired person.

This is the BEST buy with this price.

You can't say that Buying Nano is a wastage of money. U suggest that we should opt for M800. But its Price is Almost its double. And after all this car is not made for fast Driving. This is meant for poor people and for roaming within the city at short distances. so bangs will be rare.

Looking from a different perspective: the car office efficient space utilization, perfectly suits metro city conditions where in traffic jams are a must, thus reducing the chance of bang too often also offers less speed so increases safety also is better than a scooter. To sum up a pretty advantaged smart car suitable for city driving. Gives good milage and maintenance is also less thus light on pocket. Disadvantage include light steel material, rare engine and not suitable for long drive. So someone using a two wheeler should better shift to nano but limited to city use.

forget about the price and mileage. when it comes to safety Tata Nano comes will altogether with a different design of the body which makes it as safe as other cars. if the engine lies in the front of the a car, its like having a rigid block. the material of engine is very strong when compared to that of a body in any car. in case of an impact the 'engine block' transfers the impact directly to the passenger cabin. and thats why during any collision its the driver who get impacted first as the steering wheel is transmits the impact. The comments seems to been from a person who doesnt seem to have any knowledge of cars
